Objective/purpose of the facilitation services:
To strengthen the capacities of 10 women self-help groups under All We Can funded livelihoods project by delivering and facilitating a 2-day training on Marketing and Promotion for Jordanian and Syrian women. The Marketing and Promotion Trainer will be responsible to provide theoretical and practical support to women SHG whom selected by LWF, and the classes will be mixed of Youth and Adults (18+ years old), Jordanian and Syrian Women.
Job Summary
The objective of the Marketing and Promotion Training is to build capacity of the Self-Help Groups members in the field of marketing strategy formulation and promotional activities through theoretical and practical sessions.
Trainer main duties and responsibilities will be:
How to develop a marketing plan
Target market
Training on personal selling, customer service, advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, and publicity
How to create divers types of promotion material and attractive packaging
- Social Media as a promotion tool
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct theoretical and practical sessions on Marketing and Promotion.
· Conduct the development of formal marketing plan with identification of target market.
· Explain and demonstrate the power of social media and other communication channels for promoting products.
· Train the candidates on customer service, direct marketing, personal selling.
· Develop ideas for the candidates to create attractive packaging for their products.
· Show the difference between various promotional tools and how to implement it on their own.
· Maintain a safe and effective teaching / learning environment during the sessions and report any incident to LWF Livelihood staff.
· Conduct training sessions on effective timeframe and topics.
· Develop modules, activities and materials for effective training.
· Provide meaningful feedback post the completion.
· Complete the training programme on time.
· Acclimatise the candidates for the real world job expectations.
· Relates professional/life/industry experience to learning by the continuation of professional/technical skills development, the introduction of industry perspective into courses, and the active awareness of professional/industry trends and opportunities.
· Consistently keep a record of attendance and participation of trainees and track repetitive absence to report it to LWF Livelihood staff.
· Provide finale report to measure progress, identify barriers to learning and recommend action to overcome barriers and scheduled detailed work plan to the Livelihood staff.
Requirements
· Experience in working with group of trainees, Minimum of 4 years practical experience teaching.
· Demonstrate understanding of working with vulnerable trainees, ability to respect the participants’ culture and beliefs and the ability to treat them all equally
· Personal capabilities: Team work, flexibility, integrity, conflict resolution capabilities.
· Arabic (Native)
Essential Skills
o Certificate Course/Diploma in Communication/Marketing or related field
o At least 5 years of experience in Communication/Marketing or related field
o Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Performance indicators:
Facilitator performance will be evaluated against the following criteria: timeliness of the deliverables, clarity of presentations, responsibility, initiative, communication, quality of the products delivered, and final report.
